Freedom Rising

This is the film for the campaign Freedom Rising lead by Freedom Fund working alongside StudioM.

The film was shot across various locations in Southern India by myself, directed by Matt Porteous, alongside Tom Webster, Ollie Jones, and Tamsin Raine who was the Project Manager back in March.

We worked with Freedom Fund to help raise awareness of the lack of female representation in leadership across anti-slavery organizations.

The film was just released during a virtual launch event with Nada Al-Nashif who is the UN Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson who is the Chair of the organization brought together by Nelson Mandela, The Elders, and the team from Freedom Fund.

It was an exhausting and very emotional project to film. But the message is very important.
